About the Role – After Sales Manager Jobs in Kitwe
As the After Sales Manager, you will lead the Workshop and Spare Parts Departments, ensuring operational efficiency and outstanding customer satisfaction. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding after-sales revenue through service contracts, maintenance agreements, and spare parts sales. You will also develop strategic initiatives to increase the customer base and strengthen market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Workshop and Spare Parts teams to meet business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth by promoting service, maintenance contracts, and spare parts sales.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market share.
- Oversee workshop operations to maintain service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory control and ensure the availability of genuine spare parts.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with fleet operators, mining companies, contractors, and other key customers.
- Prepare budgets, performance reports, and revenue forecasts for the department.
- Coach and develop workshop and parts personnel to achieve targets and enhance skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, or heavy equipment industry.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in workshop management, spare parts operations, after-sales service, and business development.
Core Competencies
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Technical knowledge of commercial vehicles, buses, and construction equipment.
- Commercial acumen with a consistent record of meeting sales and profitability goals.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
