As an Admission and Discharge Clerk at Medland Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating patient flow from admission through to discharge. The position is full-time and involves supporting both day and night shifts within the admissions department. Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and notify patients of pre-operative assessment appointments.
• Follow up on insurance approvals to facilitate timely patient care.
• Monitor and review planned and early patient discharges to optimize bed management.
• Provide support across both day and night shifts in the admissions department.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Customer Service, or a related field.
• One to two years of relevant work experience, preferably within a healthcare environment.
