Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Administration & Store Sales Officer will oversee the daily operations of the Deyne Interiors Showroom & Design Studio. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers and ensures smooth showroom functioning, excellent customer experiences, and sales growth. The role blends front-office administration, customer engagement, retail sales, and operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities for Administration Store Sales Officer Jobs in Lusaka

• Showroom Administration: Open and close the showroom, maintain a professional and organized environment, manage reception duties, answer calls, schedule appointments, and maintain confidentiality.
• Customer Service: Greet customers professionally, understand their needs, explain products and services including wallpapers, lighting, flooring, and interior solutions, handle complaints, and build trust.
• Retail Sales: Generate sales by preparing and following up on quotations, processing orders, upselling complementary products, and supporting promotional campaigns to meet monthly sales targets.
• Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate customer records, conduct follow-ups, support retention initiatives, and foster repeat business through CRM systems.
• Showroom Presentation: Ensure product displays, marketing materials, and reception areas reflect a premium interior design atmosphere.
• Administration & Sales Support: Prepare correspondence, reports, invoices, track orders, coordinate with production and delivery teams, and assist procurement administration.
• Coordination & Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing, procurement, installations, suppliers, and customers to support showroom events and social media activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Interior Design, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Retail Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in home décor, interior furnishings, furniture retail, luxury customer service, retail sales, showroom administration, or front office administration.
