Administration Intern Jobs in Lusaka – Position Overview

Administration Intern (1 Position)

Location: Lusaka – Head Office

Duration: Six-month internship

Reporting To: Administration Assistant

The Administration Intern will assist with office management and procurement activities to ensure efficient administrative operations at GNZ’s Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized office environment.
  • Manage office supplies and assist with reordering as needed.
  • Support office maintenance, repairs, and utilities coordination.
  • Assist with reception duties, filing, documentation, and event logistics.
  • Support procurement processes including obtaining quotations, vendor record maintenance, and purchase requests.
  • Maintain procurement documentation for audits and reporting.
  • Assist with fixed asset management, including asset tracking, verification, tagging, and reporting.
  • Provide general administrative support as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
  • 0–1 year of work experience or final-year university students are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Finance Intern Opportunity in Lusaka

Finance Intern (1 Position)

Location: Lusaka – Head Office

Duration: Six-month internship

Reporting To: Finance Officer

The Finance Intern will support daily financial operations, including accounting records, payment processing, financial filing, donor compliance, and reporting, gaining valuable experience under the guidance of the Finance Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record financial transactions and maintain accurate financial filing.
  • Prepare payment vouchers, process payments, and manage petty cash.
  • Assist with bank and cashbook reconciliations monthly.
  • Support payroll preparation and filing of related documents.
  • Assist in budget monitoring and preparation of financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and donor requirements.
  • Report discrepancies and assist with audit follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with program and administrative teams on finance-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 0–1 year of relevant experience or final-year university students are welcome to apply.
