About the Accounts Graduate Trainee Role

As an Accounts Graduate Trainee, you will play a key role in assisting with various accounting and statutory responsibilities. You will gain practical exposure to bookkeeping, tax return preparation, and company secretarial duties, while ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA, and WCF. This position also involves maintaining accurate client records and conducting follow-ups with government institutions and banks when necessary.

Key Responsibilities for Accounts Graduate Trainee Jobs in Lusaka

• Perform bookkeeping and general accounting tasks for clients
• Assist in preparing and submitting tax returns and statutory filings
• Manage company secretarial and PACRA compliance activities
• Support compliance with ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA, WCF, and other regulatory requirements
• Follow up with regulatory institutions to resolve outstanding issues
• Maintain comprehensive client records, statutory documents, and compliance schedules
• Assist with reconciliations, data entry, and preparation of accounting records

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to research independently and resolve routine issues effectively
• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities
• Willingness to undertake administrative and regulatory responsibilities
