Accountant Position – Key Details for Accountant Jobs in Lusaka

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the financial operations of Dreamscape Events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain precise financial documentation
• Track daily income and expenditures
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and account reconciliations
• Monitor bar and event sales, verifying accuracy of reports
• Compile monthly financial summaries and reports
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory obligations
• Oversee invoices, payments, and receipts processing
• Collaborate with management on financial planning initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
• Familiarity with accounting software is advantageous
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Trustworthy with the ability to manage cash responsibly
• Effective communication and organizational skills

Additional Advantages

• Experience in hospitality, events, or bar environments
• Knowledge of stock control and sales tracking systems

Bar Man Position – Join Our Team in Lusaka

We are also seeking an energetic and responsible Bar Man to oversee bar operations, serve customers efficiently, and enhance the event experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Handle customer orders promptly and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages
• Accurately record daily sales
• Manage cash and mobile payments responsibly
• Ensure responsible alcohol service at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate
• Previous experience as a bartender or similar role is an advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly during busy events
• Honest, reliable, and well-presented
• Basic knowledge of drink preparation and mixing is a plus

Additional Advantages

• Experience in events, clubs, or hospitality industries
• Familiarity with stock control or POS systems
