As an Accountant at Favour Food Palace, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our fast-growing fast food restaurant. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and generate timely financial reports to support decision-making.
• Manage cost accounting processes, including detailed food cost analysis and margin tracking.
• Prepare, monitor, and analyze budgets; identify variances and recommend corrective measures.
• Track daily expenses, reconcile accounts, and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
• Oversee store management, implement inventory controls, and conduct stock reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory financial obligations and internal policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 3 years of practical accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Membership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) is required.
• Certified academic qualifications from the Zambia Accounting Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).
• Proven experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and expense tracking.
• Strong advantage for candidates with experience managing stores or inventory in food service or retail sectors.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• High integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
