Role Overview: Marketing Executive Jobs in Lusaka

As Cosmic’s first dedicated marketing professional, you will lead the marketing function end-to-end. Your responsibilities will include building brand awareness, driving B2B lead generation, and supporting sales efforts across all three company branches. You will plan and execute campaigns across both digital and traditional channels, working closely with sales, product teams, and leadership to ensure consistent messaging and effective go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital & Social Media: Manage and grow all social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram; plan, execute, and optimise paid social and advertising campaigns; lead SEO improvements and maintain the company website.
• Brand & Content: Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity; create copy and creative assets for email campaigns, product promotions, presentations, and digital platforms; manage a content calendar aligned with business priorities.
• Market Research & Strategy: Conduct ongoing market research to identify opportunities and competitive trends; translate insights into actionable campaign plans; monitor and report on campaign performance with improvement recommendations.
• B2B Lead Generation & Sales Support: Design and implement outreach campaigns targeting business clients for IT equipment and managed services; collaborate closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with the sales pipeline and nurture leads; identify new market segments across Lusaka and the wider region.
• Events & Promotions: Plan and coordinate in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and events; liaise with branch managers to ensure alignment with local priorities.

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B, IT, or technology sectors.
• Proven ability to independently develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Strong skills in market research and data analysis.
• Proficiency with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
• Excellent copywriting and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work autonomously.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Experience in IT or technology industries is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Canva, WordPress/WooCommerce, Hootsuite or similar, Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
• Desirable: Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator and basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
