Available Positions for Special Needs Teaching Jobs in Lusaka

1. Full-Time Teacher

We are looking for teachers with expertise in special education combined with one of the following subject areas:

• Special Education with ICT or Commercials
• Special Education with English or History

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education specializing in Special Education or a related field, certified by the Zambian Qualifications Authority (ZQA)
• Valid practicing license issued by the Teaching Council of Zambia
• Computer literacy
• Minimum of two years’ experience teaching learners with special needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong results and goal orientation

2. Occupational Therapist

We seek a skilled Occupational Therapist to support our learners’ developmental and therapeutic needs. Candidates should possess:

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Registration and valid practicing license with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ)
• At least two years of relevant work experience (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Result and goal-oriented approach

3. Teacher Aid

The Teacher Aid position supports classroom activities and learner care. Ideal candidates should have:

• Grade 12 certificate
• Certificate in caregiving (an added advantage)
• Experience caring for learners or members of society with special needs
• Previous experience as a teacher aide (preferred)
• Willingness to undergo necessary training
