About the Scanner Operator Role
As a Scanner Operator, you will be responsible for accurately digitizing physical documents while maintaining strict quality and confidentiality standards. This position requires close attention to detail and adherence to established scanning protocols to ensure all scanned materials meet company requirements.
- Operate document scanners efficiently and safely
- Monitor scanning output in real time, verifying page clarity, orientation, completeness, and correct sequencing
- Identify and immediately correct any scanning errors before proceeding to subsequent batches
- Follow strict scanning protocols and Standard Operating Procedures at all times
- Handle all physical documents with care and maintain strict confidentiality
- Maintain a daily production log to track scanning activities and output
Requirements for Scanner Operator Jobs in Lusaka
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Possess a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Demonstrate basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Windows operating systems and standard software navigation
- Have a sharp eye for detail and the ability to quickly detect errors
- Maintain focus and accuracy throughout the entire workday
- Be based in Lusaka and available to start immediately
- Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and discipline in the workplace
- Previous experience operating scanners, photocopiers, or other document processing equipment is advantageous
