Key Responsibilities for Safety Manager Jobs in Lusaka

• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor health and safety policies and procedures aligned with industry standards.

• Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven track record as a Safety Manager within manufacturing, steel production, fabrication, mining, or similar heavy industries.
• Comprehensive knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
• Strong leadership skills combined with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
