About the Role
As a Truck Driver at Juba Transport Limited, you will be responsible for operating trucks and trailers to deliver cargo to various client sites under contract. This role demands strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and regional traffic laws to ensure secure and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities for Truck Driver Jobs in Zambia
- Operate trucks across intercity routes, occasionally extending to multiple SADC countries.
- Safely load, handle, and transport heavy cargo and materials.
- Accurately complete and verify all paperwork related to assigned cargo.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards while prioritizing safety.
- Comply with all commercial vehicle regulations and regional traffic laws.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum Grade 9 school certificate; Grade 12 certificate is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of relevant driving experience with reputable companies.
- Possession of a valid PSV driver’s license, class ‘G’ and ‘D’.
- Experience operating trucks with Superlink trailers is a plus.
- Valid Dangerous Goods and Defensive Driving Certificates, preferably from ENAC.
- Medical fitness certification.
- Clean driving record without violations.
- Ability to pass random drug screenings.
