Key Qualifications for Land Surveyor Jobs in Lusaka

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or a related discipline
• At least four years of proven experience in land surveying
• Proficiency with GPS, Total Stations, AutoCAD, GIS, and other surveying technologies
• Comprehensive knowledge of cadastral and topographical surveying methods
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, including report writing
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform land and topographical surveys for property and development initiatives
• Accurately establish and verify land boundaries and site measurements
• Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, drawings, and legal descriptions
• Operate and maintain advanced surveying equipment and software
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to support project delivery
• Analyze survey data to ensure precision and regulatory compliance
• Maintain comprehensive field notes, records, and documentation
• Assist with site planning, land subdivision, and infrastructure development projects
