This full-time position is with Kyalami Boutique Hotel Ltd, a newly established boutique hotel located in a prime business district of Lusaka, Zambia. The hotel offers over 30 stylish rooms, a restaurant, and a bar, providing guests with a private, intimate, and culturally inspired hospitality experience. About the Role: Hotel Manager Jobs in Lusaka

The Hotel Manager – Operations & Marketing will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations while driving the hotel’s brand presence through strategic marketing initiatives. This leadership role demands a commitment to exceptional service standards and the ability to create memorable, tailored guest experiences that set Kyalami Boutique Hotel apart in the competitive hospitality market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Supervise front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and security departments to ensure smooth daily functioning.
  • Maintain high guest satisfaction by enforcing service excellence and promptly resolving complaints.
  • Enhance operational efficiency and manage cost control initiatives.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Financial Oversight: Track revenue streams, optimize pricing strategies, and manage occupancy rates to maximize profitability.
  • Marketing & Sales: Develop and execute marketing campaigns, manage online presence across platforms including OTAs, and foster partnerships with travel agents, corporates, and event organizers.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Customer Experience: Monitor guest feedback on TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, and other platforms to maintain high satisfaction scores.
  • Design loyalty programs and initiatives to encourage repeat business.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in hotel management with demonstrated expertise in both operations and marketing.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and inspire diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and strategic business planning.

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the General Manager and supervises department heads across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Sales & Marketing.
