ONE ACRE FUND is seeking a highly organized and proactive Zambia logistics specialist jobs in Kabwe candidate to lead our inventory, warehouse, and distribution operations. Key Responsibilities of the Zambia Logistics Specialist

• Inventory & Warehouse Management: Oversee storage and handling across all warehouses, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure timely monthly reconciliations. Drive strong performance on key metrics such as shrinkage and reporting timelines.
• Delivery Planning & Execution: Plan and coordinate distribution from initial modeling to last-mile delivery, develop delivery schedules, and monitor delivery KPIs, particularly during peak periods. Collaborate closely with internal teams and field stakeholders.
• Transport Coordination: Develop daily and weekly transport plans based on demand and capacity, manage third-party transport providers, and optimize delivery routes using GPS and other tools.
• Team Leadership & Development: Support and guide the logistics team with coaching, training, and performance management. Assist with hiring and succession planning to maintain operational continuity.
• Strategy & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and goal setting. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, or procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong planning and project management skills with a data-driven approach and keen attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience coaching and developing teams.
