Key Responsibilities for Laundry Attendant Jobs in Livingstone

As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and care for guest and hotel laundry. Your main duties will include:

• Efficiently processing all guest and hotel laundry according to item-specific requirements and established SOPs, ensuring all items remain clean and in excellent condition.
• Safely handling, storing, and using chemicals to prevent hazards and protect yourself and colleagues.
• Operating laundry machines following manufacturer instructions, including adhering to weight limits and operational guidelines.
• Sorting linen and laundry items by type and color for optimal washing results.
• Promptly collecting laundry from guest rooms as needed, respecting guest privacy and “Do Not Disturb” requests.
• Separating guest laundry for dry cleaning, pressing, or washing and forwarding to the appropriate sections.
• Performing quality checks on all laundered items before returning them to guests’ rooms.
• Coordinating with the cashiering department to provide billing details before shift end.
• Supporting colleagues with additional job assignments and assisting with other hotel duties as required.
