Position Overview for Big Bus Driver Jobs in Lusaka

As a Big Bus Driver at Sunda International, you will be responsible for safely transporting employees between the company premises and designated pick-up and drop-off locations. Your role is critical in ensuring timely, comfortable, and secure travel for staff members while maintaining the vehicle’s optimal condition. You will follow a structured transport schedule, conduct routine vehicle inspections, and adhere strictly to traffic laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport employees to and from company and designated locations according to schedule.
• Perform daily inspections of the bus and promptly report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure the bus is in excellent working order at all times.
• Comply fully with all road traffic regulations and company transport guidelines.
• Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout each journey.
• Keep accurate records including trip logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle reports.
• Report any accidents, delays, or transport-related incidents to management immediately.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 3 years of proven experience driving big buses or heavy vehicles.
• Valid driving licence class C, C1, C1E or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience transporting passengers, preferably employees or staff.
• Good knowledge of Lusaka’s roads and routes.
• Strong commitment to road safety with a clean driving record.
• Responsible, punctual, and reliable work ethic.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times consistently.
