Available Positions and Key Responsibilities

Head Chef

The Head Chef will lead kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, and efficient service delivery.

• Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities.
• Develop menus that maintain consistent quality and presentation.
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to meet operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Manage inventory and reduce food wastage.
• Monitor food preparation and maintain quality control.
• Ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Food Production or related field.
• Degree in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
• 4–5 years’ supervisory experience in a kitchen environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to work under pressure.

Pastry Chef

The Pastry Chef will prepare high-quality pastries and desserts while maintaining excellent hygiene and quality standards.

• Prepare pastries, cakes, desserts, and bakery products.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness within the pastry section.
• Manage ingredients and minimize wastage.
• Follow production schedules and collaborate with the kitchen team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Certificate or Diploma in Food Production or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in pastry preparation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Hot Section Chef

The Hot Section Chef will be responsible for preparing quality hot meals while ensuring food safety and operational efficiency.

• Prepare and cook hot meals according to company standards.
• Maintain food hygiene and proper handling practices.
• Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
• Monitor cooking processes and portion control.
• Keep the hot section clean and collaborate with kitchen staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Certificate or Diploma in Food Production or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a hot section kitchen environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Cashier

The Cashier will manage customer transactions accurately, maintain cash controls, and deliver excellent customer service.

• Process payments and issue receipts accurately.
• Maintain transaction records and balance cash daily.
• Handle cash and electronic payments responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
• Report discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Certificate or Diploma in Accounts or related field.
• 2–3 years’ cashier experience, preferably in hospitality or catering.
• Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Customer-oriented with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
