Key Responsibilities for Both Positions

• Take full responsibility for assigned classes, nurturing students’ academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Teacher and colleagues to ensure effective teaching and learning.
• Engage in continuous professional development through seminars, conferences, and CPD activities.
• Enforce learner conduct and discipline policies consistently.
• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with a challenging and relevant curriculum.
• Create inquiry-based learning environments that promote trust, respect, and fairness.
• Utilize appropriate resources and digital tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Develop and administer assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Communicate professionally with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Provide pastoral support as necessary and actively participate in extracurricular programs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned to support school objectives.

Specific Role Details

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate with five credits or better.
• Bachelor’s Degree in History and Civic Education for the History role, or Bachelor’s Degree in Education-Science for the Agricultural Science role, from a recognized institution.
• Qualified Teacher status registered and licensed with The Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).
• Familiarity with Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) and Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) pathways.
• Certified documents by Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).
• At least three years of teaching experience at a reputable school.
• Strong communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a flexible approach to work.
• Computer literacy and a growth mindset with creative enthusiasm.
