We are looking for a Senior Engineer, Reliability to lead our Reliability Engineers Team, ensuring alignment with our Strategic Asset Management Plan and driving continuous improvement across our operations.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Reliability Engineer Jobs Kalumbila

• Lead and mentor the Reliability Engineers Team, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, standards, and training.
• Implement and manage periodic reviews of asset management strategies for plant production equipment.
• Oversee continuous defect elimination processes, identifying, analyzing, and resolving chronic failures.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for high-impact events, defining corrective actions and ensuring timely implementation.
• Maintain a comprehensive database tracking defect elimination and RCA actions.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination with other departments to ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Provide resources and support to enable the team to work safely and technically proficiently.
• Develop succession plans and conduct performance reviews aligned with planning KPIs.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance asset management processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in reliability engineering and asset management within the mining industry.
• At least 5 years in a senior supervisory role, demonstrating leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Proficiency in maintenance and reliability systems such as ERP or CMMS, SCADA, OsiSoft PI, and database management.
• Strong knowledge of reliability engineering methodologies including FMEA, RCA, RCM, and equipment strategy identification techniques.
• Engineering degree in a relevant field or equivalent significant experience in Reliability and Asset Management.
• Computer literacy with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.
