Position Overview: Electrician Role at Sunda International

As an Electrician with Sunda International, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the reliability and efficiency of our electrical and mechanical systems. This position requires a proactive approach to equipment maintenance, fault diagnosis, and system upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities for Electrician Jobs in Lusaka

• Equipment Maintenance & Inspections: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and thorough inspections to ensure maximum equipment reliability and operational stability.
• Troubleshooting & Technical Repairs: Quickly and accurately diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems, executing high-quality repairs that reduce production interruptions.
• Installation, Commissioning & Upgrades: Lead or assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery, and actively participate in technical modifications and process improvement initiatives.
• Spare Parts & Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of spare parts to maintain optimal stock levels, balancing availability with cost efficiency.
• EHS & On-Site Management: Uphold strict workplace safety standards (EHS) and implement 5S management practices to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Possession of a valid, government-issued Electrician Certificate, covering either high or low voltage systems, or an equivalent professional electrical license.
