About the Architecture Instructor Jobs in Lusaka

As a part-time instructor at Imbana Design, you will deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions focused on architecture and interior design. You will play a pivotal role in mentoring students, guiding them through practical projects, and supporting their academic development. Your expertise will also contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our curriculum and training programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional and interactive training sessions online and/or in-person.
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans, learning materials, and student assessments.
• Mentor students through practical design projects and assignments, providing constructive guidance.
• Offer timely academic feedback and learner support to foster student success.
• Collaborate in curriculum development to continuously improve training content and delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is desirable.
• Relevant practical industry experience with significant involvement in interior and spatial design projects.
• Proficiency in CAD and design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Archicad, Revit, or comparable tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, construction methods, materials, and finishes.
• Experience in teaching, training, mentoring, or facilitation is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage learners.
