Key Responsibilities for English Language Teacher Jobs in Lusaka

• Develop and deliver dynamic English Language lessons aligned with approved curricula.
• Monitor and evaluate student attendance, academic progress, and behaviour through ongoing assessments and accurate record-keeping.
• Provide targeted academic support and interventions for learners requiring additional assistance.
• Promote Christian values alongside social-emotional learning and positive discipline strategies.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment consistent with ACEZ safeguarding policies.
• Identify, document, and promptly report any child protection concerns.
• Engage in school leadership, staff development sessions, and professional training opportunities.
• Ensure timely completion of syllabus content, effective classroom management, and administration of tests and examinations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education with a single or double major in English Language.
• Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) Practising Certificate.
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a faith-based and multicultural setting.
• A committed Christian demonstrating integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
