We invite enthusiastic and qualified candidates to join our dynamic team in various full-time roles at our Mpongwe farm. Our company is involved in the production, processing, distribution, and retail of a wide range of products including beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, leather, shoes, stock feed, and day-old chicks.

Available Positions for Multiple Jobs in Mpongwe

Tractor Driver – Mpongwe Farm (2 Positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate tractors and agricultural equipment such as bell loggers.
  • Monitor machinery operation to detect malfunctions.
  • Attach farm implements including plows, discs, sprayers, and harvesters.
  • Transport crops, supplies, tools, and workers using tractors.
  • Perform adjustments, repairs, and servicing of farm machinery and report issues promptly.
  • Operate towed machines like seed drills and manure spreaders for planting and fertilizing crops.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience

Painter – Mpongwe Farm (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all painting and skimming works.
  • Assess painting needs and prepare surfaces accordingly.
  • Ensure proper mixing, matching, and application of paint.
  • Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment.
  • Maintain scaffolds and ladders safely to prevent accidents.
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Relevant painting experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret building plans and work orders to determine material needs.
  • Measure distances and calculate angles for accurate bricklaying.
  • Lay bricks using mortar and tools, ensuring proper alignment and fastening.
  • Work safely at heights using scaffolds and swing stages.
  • Use construction tools and equipment effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Certificate or Diploma in Bricklaying or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify the safe operation of Centre Pivots and related machinery.
  • Test components for defects and ensure proper functioning.
  • Adjust, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, and tubing using hand and power tools.
  • Install or replace parts and apply protective coatings to prevent corrosion.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment and work areas.
  • Disassemble and reassemble parts to facilitate repairs.
  • Assist skilled workers in maintenance and repair tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 9 or Grade 12 Certificate
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience

Attributes:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to resolve issues independently on the farm
