About the Role: Store Manager Jobs in Lusaka

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the electronics retail outlet, including sales performance, customer service, staff leadership, and inventory control. Your leadership will be vital in driving sales growth, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth coordination with customs and port officials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the store team by setting targets, defining roles, delegating tasks, creating rosters, and motivating staff to achieve goals
  • Oversee sales, customer service, and marketing initiatives to maximize revenue
  • Maintain excellent coordination with Customs Department and Port Officials
  • Handle customer complaints promptly and maintain high service standards
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with revenue objectives
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance regularly
  • Ensure shop cleanliness and visual merchandising comply with company guidelines
  • Educate staff on billing, cash handling, and stock reporting software
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and monitor sales targets
  • Maintain accurate stock and bond registers, ensuring daily updates and cross-checks with invoices
  • Monitor bond expiry dates and apply for timely extensions to ensure compliance
  • Control stock levels at both warehouse and shop at all times
  • Prepare stock orders based on sales analysis and demand
  • Coordinate with other business functions to support overall company objectives
  • Ensure validity of customs licenses, bank guarantees, and insurance coverage for fire, burglary, theft, and natural calamities

Required Competencies and Skills

  • Strong practical experience in retail operations, merchandising, and marketing

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
