Knight Piésold is seeking qualified candidates for site engineer jobs in North Western and Copperbelt regions of Zambia. This opportunity offers a 12-month contract to a highly skilled Site Engineer who will oversee engineering activities on key projects within these provinces.
About the Site Engineer Role
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and technical expertise to manage on-site operations, ensuring smooth coordination among clients, contractors, and assistant engineers. Key Responsibilities for Site Engineer Jobs in North Western and Copperbelt
- Manage contract execution and compliance.
- Maintain effective liaison with clients and contractors.
- Implement and monitor the Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) plan.
- Supervise and guide assistant site engineers.
- Oversee overall project management activities on site.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- Full registration and paid-up membership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) required.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in site works involving tailings facilities, earthworks, liner, and landfill design.
- Proven experience with Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) processes.
- Knowledge of the Global Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM) is essential.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Strong technical report writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Project; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive under varied road conditions.
