About the Role

As Marketing & Alumni Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting the College, coordinating key events, managing digital platforms, and fostering strong relationships with alumni and stakeholders. Reporting to the Marketing and Admissions Department and the Director of Sixth Form, you will be integral to enhancing the College’s brand and community presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support marketing, admissions, and branding strategies to raise the College’s profile
  • Coordinate events and networking opportunities that engage students, alumni, and partners
  • Manage communications with alumni and other stakeholders to strengthen ongoing relationships
  • Assist with digital marketing efforts, including social media management and content creation
  • Support both internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of major school events and marketing campaigns

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline
  • Registered Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM)
  • Relevant experience in marketing and branding; experience within an educational environment is advantageous
  • Proficiency in web content creation, editing, and publishing
  • Strong skills in social media management and digital marketing tools
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and time-management abilities
  • Knowledge of ICT systems, Microsoft Office, and graphic design skills will be an added advantage
  • Ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
