About the Role

Reporting directly to the Coordinator Rotables – QAQC, you will be responsible for ensuring full quality assurance and quality control compliance across electrical systems, installations, maintenance activities, and project works throughout the operation. Your role is critical in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities for Electrical Engineer Jobs in Kalumbila

• Conduct thorough inspections, audits, and quality verifications of electrical works to ensure adherence to specifications and workmanship standards.
• Ensure all electrical repairs, installations, modifications, and refurbished components comply with approved engineering standards, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, statutory regulations, and company procedures.
• Inspect high voltage (HV), medium voltage (MV), and low voltage (LV) electrical systems for compliance and operational integrity.
• Verify workmanship quality, insulation condition, termination quality, cleanliness, electrical connections, functionality, and component integrity.
• Participate in factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, and commissioning activities for electrical equipment and systems.
• Address non-conformance issues promptly and coordinate corrective actions with vendors, maintenance teams, and the rotable team.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, punch lists, non-conformance reports, corrective action logs, certificates, and repair records.
• Prepare comprehensive quality reports, audit findings, inspection summaries, vendor quality reports, and compliance status reports for management review.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in electrical engineering, QA/QC, project execution, maintenance, or industrial/mining operations.
• Preferred experience in mining, heavy industry, power generation, processing plants, or large infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience with HV, MV, and LV electrical systems and industrial automation environments is advantageous.
• Proficiency with CMMS/ERP systems such as SAP, Maximo, Pronto, or Ellipse.
• Possession of an unrestricted Class B driver’s license.
