About the Role: Office Administrator

The Office Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting UKANI’s expanding operations. Reporting directly to the Projects and Operations Lead, this full-time contract position requires a proactive individual who can manage various administrative tasks to ensure smooth office and project functioning.

Key Responsibilities for Office Admin Jobs in Lusaka

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients by professionally managing incoming calls, emails, and walk-in enquiries.
  • Organize and maintain company documents, contracts, site records, and correspondence to ensure easy accessibility and accuracy.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for management and site teams efficiently.
  • Assist with invoice preparation, payment tracking, and basic bookkeeping to support financial processes.
  • Manage procurement administration including petty cash and supplier communications.
  • Maintain office supplies and oversee daily office operations to ensure a productive work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 1 to 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within a construction or engineering setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and discretion when handling confidential information.
