Key Responsibilities

• Track shipments and provide regular status updates to clients.
• Ensure compliance with customs, tax, and trade regulations at all times.
• Calculate duties, taxes, and other applicable charges for shipments.
• Resolve any clearance delays, disputes, or documentation discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of shipments and clearance transactions.
• Coordinate cargo inspections and verification processes as required.
• Monitor developments in customs legislation and advise senior management accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Diploma or Degree in Clearing & Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in customs clearing and forwarding operations.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, trade regulations, and import/export documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• A valid driver’s license will be considered an advantage.
