Role Overview: Marketing Brand Manager Jobs in Lusaka

In this full-time role, you will develop and implement marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, stimulate consumer demand, and support commercial growth. Collaborating closely with founders, sales teams, agencies, and retail partners, you will ensure our brand stands out both in-store and online. This position is ideal for a commercially minded marketer passionate about building strong brands and making a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Management: Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies and annual marketing plans; maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity; monitor market trends to enhance brand relevance.
  • Retail & Shopper Marketing: Design initiatives that drive sales in supermarkets and specialty retail; coordinate promotional calendars; collaborate on retailer presentations and new product launches; conduct store visits to evaluate shelf presence and competitor activity.
  • Product & Innovation Support: Lead marketing efforts for new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and packaging updates; gather consumer insights to guide innovation.
  • Digital & Consumer Marketing: Manage content and communications across digital channels; oversee social media strategy; support direct-to-consumer growth through targeted campaigns and partnerships.
  • Corporate & Hospitality Marketing: Create tailored marketing materials for corporate gifting and hospitality sectors; support business development with compelling sales assets.
  • Agency & Budget Management: Coordinate external partners; ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets; monitor marketing spend.
  • Insights & Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs; analyze campaign results; track competitor and consumer trends within confectionery and FMCG markets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in marketing or brand management within FMCG, preferably food and beverage, confectionery, or premium food sectors.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience working with retail channels and shopper marketing initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in entrepreneurial or growing business environments.
  • Exposure to both consumer and B2B marketing.
  • Experience with product launches and packaging development.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and analytics tools.
