As the Human Resource and Recruitment Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce by managing the full recruitment lifecycle and leading talent acquisition efforts across the continent.
Beyond recruitment, you will enhance employee retention by supporting onboarding and improving the overall candidate experience. This role requires a proactive and resourceful professional eager to solve complex hiring challenges and drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes.
Key Responsibilities for Human Resource Recruitment Supervisor Jobs in Lusaka
- Develop and execute recruitment plans aligned with business needs, managing the entire hiring process from resume screening to onboarding.
- Source and headhunt senior talent using LinkedIn, recruitment portals, social media, networking, and other innovative channels to fill critical roles.
- Support recruitment for urgent specialist positions across group subsidiaries.
- Conduct talent mapping and industry benchmarking to build and maintain a robust company talent pool.
- Manage recruitment channels across Africa, including operational oversight, performance tracking, data reporting, and process optimization.
- Implement comprehensive employee retention strategies focusing on onboarding, probation follow-up, feedback, and regularization assessments.
- Assist in enhancing recruitment systems to ensure compliance, efficiency, and quality in hiring practices.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years’ professional recruitment experience; experience in the building materials or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Proven ability to independently conduct interviews, assess talent, and negotiate effectively.
- Hands-on experience in senior talent sourcing, headhunting, and talent mapping.
- Strong familiarity with mainstream recruitment channels across Africa, including LinkedIn, and a solid understanding of local talent market dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills, responsibility, proactivity, quick learning ability, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to escalate issues and drive solutions in a fast-paced environment.
