About the Role: Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and leading OneLife’s marketing and branding strategies. This position requires a self-motivated, versatile individual capable of driving integrated marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and maximize sales and business development efforts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive marketing and branding strategies based on company goals.
- Collaborating across the marketing value chain to deliver high-quality marketing initiatives.
- Driving integrated marketing campaigns to enhance sales force effectiveness and business growth.
- Monitoring competitive products and marketing activities to inform and optimize strategies.
- Providing input on media strategies to ensure impactful campaigns targeting relevant market segments.
- Conceptualizing and overseeing marketing creative with the internal creative team.
- Establishing advertising and digital standards to maintain consistent brand messaging.
- Partnering with vendors to procure marketing materials supporting campaign concepts.
- Collaborating with product development, sales, technical marketing, and creative teams to develop marketing and communication solutions.
- Delivering marketing messages effectively through mobile, video, social media, and other channels.
- Developing and tracking marketing metrics that support decision-making related to revenue growth, market share, and profitability.
- Implementing communication strategies within the organization.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, intermediaries, shareholders, industry bodies, and the community.
- Measuring campaign performance and reporting insights against objectives.
- Contributing to cost-effective budgeting and operational efficiency improvements.
- Leading initiatives to enhance brand visibility, consistency, and differentiation in the market.
Qualifications and Experience for Marketing Manager Jobs in Lusaka
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- A master’s degree in marketing is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and computer literacy is essential.
- Between 5 to 7 years of experience in communication, marketing, or brand management.
- 1 to 2 years of people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of marketing strategy, business development, and corporate communication.
- Familiarity with current marketing trends and through-the-line media platforms.
- Membership in the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) as a paid-up member is mandatory.
