Key Responsibilities for Warehouse Officer Jobs in Zambia
The Warehouse Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of goods through the following duties:
- Accurately process incoming and outgoing goods to guarantee timely and complete delivery of machine parts.
- Handle daily purchase and sales orders both physically and administratively.
- Prepare and collect orders for shipment.
- Provide feedback on stock issues and maintain efficient storage of goods.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in warehouse areas, adhering to established safety guidelines.
- Assist internal and external customers at the warehouse counter.
- Distribute incoming goods efficiently to the workshop and mechanics.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of logistics processes.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP (MM, WM), including PR/PO creation, receipt follow-up, and stock consultation.
