Position Overview: Truck Delivery Driver with Mechanical Skills

As a Truck Delivery Driver at Oyera Mineral Water, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of our products while maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. Your role will require both driving proficiency and practical mechanical abilities to support daily operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Oyera Mineral Water products safely and punctually to customer locations.
• Load and unload goods efficiently at delivery points.
• Verify deliveries against invoices and secure proof of delivery.
• Perform daily inspections of the delivery truck to ensure operational safety.
• Carry out mechanical repairs and routine maintenance on the vehicle.
• Identify and report any mechanical faults promptly to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and good working condition of the truck.
• Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times.
• Support other operational tasks as required by the company.

Minimum Requirements for Truck Delivery Driver Jobs in Lusaka

• Valid PSV, Class B and Class C driver’s licenses appropriate for delivery trucks.
• Valid National Registration Card (NRC).
• Proven experience in truck driving and delivery, supported by verifiable references.
• Practical mechanical knowledge and experience working on trucks or diesel vehicles.
• Strong familiarity with Lusaka and surrounding areas.
• Comprehensive understanding of road safety regulations.
• Physically capable of loading and unloading goods.
• Honest, punctual, and responsible work ethic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Clean driving record.
• Preference given to candidates residing in the Ngwerere area.
