Available Teaching Positions

1. Art & Design Teacher – Part Time

The Art & Design Teacher will inspire creativity and technical skills while guiding students through the NCUK curriculum. This role focuses on developing portfolios and preparing students for higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Art & Design lessons aligned with the NCUK curriculum
• Guide students in portfolio development and creative projects
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
• Plan lessons and maintain accurate academic records
• Support students to reach their academic and creative potential
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Art & Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) Practising Certificate
• Minimum three years teaching experience in a recognized institution
• Experience with post-secondary, international, or NCUK programmes is an advantage

2. English Teacher – Full Time

The English Teacher will deliver high-quality instruction to develop students’ academic reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills based on the NCUK curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English in line with the NCUK curriculum
• Prepare lesson plans and learning materials
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback
• Support academic writing and communication skill development
• Maintain accurate student records and engage in quality assurance
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic improvement

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid TCZ Practising Certificate
• Minimum three years teaching experience in a recognized institution
• Experience with academic English, Cambridge, or NCUK programmes is advantageous

3. Computer Studies Teacher – Part Time

This role involves equipping students with essential digital, technical, and analytical skills necessary for university and technology careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Computer Studies modules according to the NCUK curriculum
• Teach programming, databases, networking, and IT concepts
• Prepare lesson plans, practical activities, and assessments
• Evaluate student progress and provide academic support
• Promote technology integration in teaching and learning
• Maintain accurate academic records and support curriculum enhancement

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid TCZ Practising Certificate
• Minimum three years teaching experience in a recognized institution
• Experience with international curricula is an advantage

4. Sociology Teacher – Part Time

The Sociology Teacher will deliver effective lessons, foster critical thinking, and support students’ academic growth within a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Sociology lessons aligned with the approved curriculum
• Develop engaging teaching and learning materials
• Assess student understanding through varied assessments
• Monitor and report on academic progress
• Provide academic guidance and encourage independent learning
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and performance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Social Sciences, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid TCZ Practising Certificate
• Minimum three years teaching experience in a recognized institution
• Experience teaching international curricula is beneficial
