Key Responsibilities of the Scrap Salvage Yard Supervisor

As a Scrap Salvage Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the yard to maintain safety, efficiency, and compliance. Your main duties will include:

• Delegating daily tasks to the workforce to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintaining strict safety standards in the work area at all times.
• Keeping accurate records and log books to comply with statutory requirements.
• Managing contractor trucks and ensuring all loads are securely fastened.
• Controlling material disposal and segregation processes.
• Ensuring proper yard delineation is maintained.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the coordinator.

Required Skills and Competencies for Scrap Salvage Yard Supervisor Jobs in Kalumbila

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and practical skills relevant to scrap yard operations, including:

• Mechanical knowledge of scrap materials.
