Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Sales Agent will contribute significantly to revenue growth and brand visibility. The role requires managing daily shop operations, maintaining product quality, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

• Efficiently execute daily sales and marketing activities while upholding cleanliness, product quality, and company standards.
• Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment with Farm Operations, and maintain attractive, fresh product displays.
• Adhere to established procedures for opening, closing, cash handling, and customer interactions.
• Respond professionally to customer telephone enquiries to support sales and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team, Logistics, Packing, and Farm Operations to meet targets.
• Promote premium flowers and seasonal specials through effective upselling and cross-selling techniques.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with walk-in customers, corporate clients, supermarkets, event organizers, hotels, and florists.
• Coordinate order fulfilment for key accounts, ensuring timely delivery and excellent service.
• Address customer complaints promptly and professionally in line with company standards.
• Support marketing efforts by assisting with social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and the company website.
• Help develop weekly content plans and track engagement to optimize campaigns.
• Record sales transactions in QuickBooks Online and issue ZRA Smart Invoices within 72 hours.
• Complete end-of-day sales reconciliations following standard procedures.

Qualifications and Experience for Sales Agent Jobs in Lusaka

Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and experience to thrive in this role:

• A certificate in Marketing and Sales, Business Administration, or a related discipline is advantageous.
• Two to three years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or marketing, preferably within floriculture or FMCG sectors.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Excel, including data analytics skills, is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills in English and at least one major Zambian language.
• Strong customer care orientation and dedication to delivering premium service.
• Ability to multitask, perform under pressure, and consistently meet sales targets.
• Experience managing social media platforms is a plus.
