We invite applications for the role of Principal Compliance Analyst, a key position responsible for overseeing compliance activities across all Directorates and Business Units within the company.
About the Principal Compliance Analyst Role
The Principal Compliance Analyst will supervise staff conducting research, analysis, and investigations to ensure comprehensive compliance with regulatory and internal standards. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential compliance issues and implementing effective solutions to maintain the company’s integrity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities for Principal Compliance Analyst Jobs in Zambia
- Collect and compile information from Directorates and Business Units for compliance research and analysis.
- Lead research initiatives to identify and assess applicable compliance obligations.
- Analyze potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Detect and resolve discrepancies in daily operations, including mitigation strategies.
- Design and maintain the Compliance Management System program and controls.
- Develop and implement compliance procedures to ensure adherence to obligations.
- Monitor and evaluate organizational compliance continuously.
- Collaborate with internal teams to uphold compliance standards.
- Stay informed on legislative and regulatory changes affecting the company.
- Prepare detailed reports for management communication.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and share knowledge with team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent professional business qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CA Zambia.
- Relevant compliance certifications are advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in internal or external auditing, or project management.
Essential Skills
Effective communication skills are critical for this role, requiring the ability to convey complex compliance matters clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing, using official company language.
