Available Positions: Poultry Men (3 Vacancies)

Role Overview: As a Poultry Man, you will be responsible for the daily care, feeding, and monitoring of birds within our facilities. Your efforts will ensure optimal flock health, meet growth targets, and maintain rigorous biosecurity protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer daily feed, clean water, and prescribed medications or vaccinations according to farm schedules and management instructions.
• Adjust ventilation curtains, lighting, and feeding systems to sustain ideal rearing conditions.
• Enforce strict biosecurity measures, including use of footbaths, attire changes, and thorough facility sanitation.
• Participate in rotational shifts, including evenings and weekends, to monitor bird welfare continuously.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 9 or Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Hands-on experience with commercial poultry (broilers, layers, or rearing stock) is highly preferred.
• Technical training or practical attachments at recognized agricultural facilities are advantageous.
• Physically fit, reliable, and willing to reside on-site in farm-provided accommodation.

Available Position: Security Guard (1 Vacancy)

Role Overview: The Security Guard will be responsible for protecting Vaimar Farms’ premises, livestock, personnel, and assets through vigilant surveillance, access control, and proactive risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the main entrance gate, verify identities, inspect vehicles, and maintain an accurate visitor log.
• Conduct regular foot patrols around farm perimeters, poultry houses, and equipment storage to deter theft and trespassing.
• Enforce biosecurity protocols at entry points, including tire disinfection and mandatory hand sanitizing and footbaths for visitors.
• Protect valuable farm machinery, feed supplies, solar installations, and infrastructure from damage or theft.
• Report any security incidents or suspicious activities promptly to supervisors.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 9 or Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Previous security experience in agricultural, poultry, or industrial settings is highly desirable.
• Proven reliability with verifiable references from prior employers is an advantage.
• Physically fit, honest, alert, and disciplined with the ability to respond proactively in emergencies.
