The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in translating our business plan into a revenue-generating operation while managing critical aspects such as B2B sales, regulatory compliance, team leadership, and digital platform implementation.

Key Responsibilities for Operations Manager Jobs in Lusaka
- Business Development & Partnerships (40%)
- Identify and secure Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Zambian employers to offer salary-backed advances.
- Develop and maintain relationships with supermarket chains, mines, and contractors to support SME Order Financing.
- Manage the sales pipeline and represent Four Oaks at industry forums and SME associations.
- Operational Setup & Technology Implementation (30%)
- Lead the rollout of the digital lending application, ensuring key features like the Financial Health Check and budgeting tools are fully operational.
- Develop and enforce core operational processes, including Credit Policy, disbursement workflows, and collection procedures.
- Ensure compliance with PACRA, FIC, and other lending regulations.
- Recruit, train, and manage the founding branch team.
- Portfolio Quality & Financial Oversight (20%)
- Monitor loan portfolio performance to maintain high repayment rates and keep Portfolio at Risk (PAR) within approved limits.
- Manage daily liquidity to guarantee continuous availability of lending capital.
- Provide clear and transparent monthly performance reports to the Board of Directors.
- Culture & Values Stewardship (10%)
- Promote and embed Four Oaks’ core values of Integrity, Humility, and Hard Work throughout daily operations.
- Champion financial literacy by ensuring all clients engage with educational tools.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 5 to 8 years in Financial Services, Fintech, or B2B Sales with a proven record of closing deals.
- Startup Mindset: Comfortable working in a lean startup environment and building processes from the ground up.
- Technical Skills: Experience with digital lending platforms or financial software implementation is essential.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Economics. Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA are advantageous.
