Key Responsibilities for the Oil Mill Plant Fitter Position

  • Diagnose and resolve all mechanical issues related to milling plant machinery promptly and efficiently.
  • Respond to and repair machine breakdowns to minimize downtime in the milling plant.
  • Perform plumbing maintenance and repairs within the milling facility as required.
  • Apply lubrication to all rotating machine components to ensure smooth operation and reduce wear.
  • Coordinate the loading and dispatch of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) to customers, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain detailed records of machine breakdowns, repairs completed, and scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure the oil milling plant area is kept clean and organized to promote safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience Required for Oil Mill Plant Fitter Jobs in Kanchibiya

  • Minimum educational qualification of a Full Grade Twelve Certificate.
  • Bachelor of Science or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is highly desirable.
  • At least three years of practical experience working as a plant fitter or in a similar mechanical maintenance role within an industrial or milling environment.
