Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and contribute to individualized care planning
• Prepare patients effectively for endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures

• Administer intravenous medications and manage cannula insertions with precision
• Monitor patient recovery closely and deliver attentive post-procedure care

Candidate Requirements

• Valid practicing license with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ)
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in endoscopy, colonoscopy, or gastrointestinal nursing care
• Background in acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings preferred
• Proficient in IV therapy and wound management
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
