Pafriw Hardware, a reputable supplier based in Lusaka, Zambia, is currently seeking qualified candidates for various full-time roles. Available Positions and Responsibilities

Cashier (3 Positions)

• Transaction Processing: Accurately itemize and total customer purchases, process cash and credit transactions, and issue receipts.
• Cash Management: Balance cash drawers at shift start and end.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, answer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide product information.
• Sales Support: Assist with sales, promote products, and ensure correct pricing.
• Returns and Exchanges: Manage product returns and exchanges efficiently.
• Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean and organized.

Requirements: Grade 12 certificate, prior cashier experience preferred (hardware sales experience an advantage), strong communication, accuracy with money handling, ability to work under pressure, and residency in Lusaka. Candidates should be friendly, welcoming, and quick learners.

Sales Assistant (8 Positions)

• Customer Service: Assist customers in selecting hardware products and provide detailed product knowledge.
• Sales & Promotion: Achieve sales targets, manage follow-ups, and track quotes via phone calls.
• Merchandising & Stock: Maintain clean, organized, and attractive product displays; replenish stock; assist customers with loading items.
• Inventory & Cleaning: Conduct stock takes and keep updated on pricing and inventory levels.
• Marketing Support: Promote products on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp to boost sales.

Requirements: Grade 12 certificate required, experience in sales preferred, strong verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy, ability to work collaboratively, and knowledge of electrical appliances or hardware materials is highly desirable.

External Sales Representative (3 Positions)

• Customer Acquisition & Retention: Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Field Sales: Travel to customer sites, conduct visits, and promote company products.
• Negotiation & Closing: Present proposals and negotiate to finalize sales.
• Reporting & Administration: Keep detailed records of leads and accounts and submit regular sales reports.

Requirements: Diploma or certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; proven outside sales experience; excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Ivend software is an advantage.

Front-End Controller (2 Positions)

• Customer Service: Ensure a positive and welcoming environment at the store entrance and exit.
• Operational Oversight: Supervise the sales floor, manage checkout operations, and handle customer inquiries.
• Security & Loss Prevention: Monitor customer activity to prevent theft, coordinate with CCTV operators, and act as a loss prevention contact.
• Staff Coordination: Direct sales staff and manage efficiency during peak times, including opening additional checkout lanes as needed.

Requirements: Grade 12 certificate; prior experience as a front-end controller preferred; hardware sales experience is an advantage; strong communication skills; accuracy in cash handling; ability to work under pressure; residency in Lusaka; friendly and quick learner.
