Position Overview: Engineer (Contract)

The Engineer role is a contract position based at CCECC’s Lusaka Head Office. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting engineering and project management activities. This includes technical coordination, planning, documentation, monitoring of construction works, and ensuring all activities comply with relevant engineering standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities for Engineer Jobs in Lusaka

• Coordinate technical aspects of engineering projects and liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and reports to track progress and compliance.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Support planning and scheduling to optimize project delivery timelines.
• Assist in problem-solving and provide technical input for project challenges.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
• Possession of a Junior Engineer or Intermediate Engineer Certificate is advantageous.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have studied in China or have prior experience working with Chinese enterprises.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced professional environment.
• Proficiency in engineering software and computer applications is a plus.
