Position Overview: Driver Role

This contract position reports directly to the Branch Manager and is based in Kitwe/Chambishi. The Driver will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of personnel, materials, and equipment. In addition, the role requires maintaining vehicle cleanliness and conducting routine maintenance checks to support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities for Driver Jobs in Chambishi

• Safely transport staff, goods, and equipment in compliance with company and legal standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational condition of assigned vehicles through basic maintenance checks.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies at all times.
• Plan and manage efficient routes and schedules to ensure punctual arrivals and departures.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date logbooks and mileage records.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Class CE driver’s license is mandatory.
• At least five years of professional driving experience.
• Experience operating Foton Aumark light trucks, dump trucks, or similar vehicles is advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Strong communication skills and effective time management.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Residency in Kitwe is a strict requirement for this role.
