About the Role: Content Creator Jobs in Lusaka

As the Content / Media Officer, you will be the visual storyteller for both Curtain Factory and Deyne Interiors, responsible for producing, publishing, and managing all social media content and digital assets. Your creative efforts will ensure consistent brand visibility and engagement across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms, helping to strengthen our online presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Develop high-quality social media posts, including photography of products and design installations, graphic design using Canva or similar tools, video editing, and writing captivating captions tailored to each brand’s voice.
• Publishing & Scheduling: Manage and execute the monthly content calendar, ensuring timely posting without any missed days. Professionally engage with followers by responding to direct messages and comments.
• Media Asset Management: Organize the digital media library, systematically store project photography, and secure client approvals when necessary.
• Reporting: Provide weekly summaries of content performance to the Marketing Manager, identify underperforming posts, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Graphic Design, Media, Marketing, Communications, or related fields is preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing roles.
• A strong portfolio showcasing personal or professional content creation skills.
• Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.

Skills and Personal Attributes

• Expertise in photography, graphic design, and video editing tailored for social media.
• Strong copywriting skills with an understanding of social media tone and audience engagement.
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and content scheduling tools.
• Basic knowledge of social media algorithms and best practices.
• Creative eye with a natural sense of aesthetics and composition.
• Reliable and consistent, able to meet deadlines without reminders.
• Brand-savvy, understanding the distinct identities of Curtain Factory and Deyne Interiors.
• Passionate about design, décor, and visual storytelling.
