About the Construction Manager Role

This full-time position is based on Zambian projects and requires an individual who is committed to delivering excellence in construction management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Qualifications and Experience

Must be a Zambian citizen.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
At least 10 years of experience in construction or mining infrastructure projects, including a minimum of 4 years in a managerial capacity.
Extensive knowledge of construction practices, pre-commissioning processes, and project management methodologies.
Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects and lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, preferably FIDIC, as well as technical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with statutory regulations, quality assurance standards, and safety, health, and environmental (SHE) requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, cost control, and performance monitoring.
Valid membership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
