Position Available: Bus Driver (2 Vacancies)

CCM invites applications for two full-time Bus Driver positions. Successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of personnel transport buses within the mine site routes.

Key Responsibilities for Bus Driver Jobs in Chingola

• Operate buses safely along designated mine site routes, ensuring passenger safety at all times.
• Perform thorough pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness.
• Maintain cleanliness and good working condition of the bus consistently.
• Accurately record mileage, passenger counts, and fuel consumption.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues, incidents, or accidents to the relevant authorities.
• Adapt to working in diverse weather conditions including dust, heat, and rain.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with C or CE class endorsement.
• Minimum of three years’ experience driving buses, preferably within mining or construction sectors.
• Physically fit and able to successfully pass a medical examination.
• Strong communication skills and effective time management abilities.
• Willingness to work extended shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possession of a Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid Silicosis Certificate.
• Updated Curriculum Vitae detailing relevant experience and qualifications.
